Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures in residential properties.
  • Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues; provide recommendations for repair and replacement options.
  • Communicate with customers regarding service expectations, project progress, and additional requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Prepare accurate documentation for services rendered, including cost estimates and invoices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
  • Manage plumbing materials and inventory; order new supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • A valid plumbing license is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential plumbing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing codes.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Proficient in using modern plumbing tools and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance.

Jake Miller Plumbing is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Plumbing Installer to join our dynamic team. As a Residential Plumbing Installer, your primary focus will be on the installation of plumbing systems in residential properties. This role requires technical expertise, a strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and fixtures in residential properties.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications using hand and power tools.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure a seamless installation process.
  • Conduct inspections of installation sites to ensure compliance with necessary codes and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company and regulatory safety guidelines.
  • Provide exemplary customer service by addressing clients’ questions and concerns professionally.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure readiness for projects.
  • Contribute to training and mentoring new team members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in plumbing installation, preferably in a residential setting.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers seeking plumbing services, and will also be responsible for efficiently dispatching our technicians to various service locations. This role is essential to ensuring effective communication and coordination between clients, technicians, and the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner; obtain necessary information from customers to understand their service needs.
  • Schedule appointments for service calls and provide customers with confirmation and relevant details.
  • Dispatch plumbing technicians to customer locations based on service needs, technician availability, and geographic efficiency.
  • Maintain a real-time schedule and communicate with technicians regarding any changes or updates.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback effectively.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure they have the necessary information and resources to perform service calls efficiently.
  • Monitor the progress of service calls and provide updates to customers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, customer information, and technician schedules.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and file maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service, call center, or dispatch role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including data entry and scheduling software.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing services is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions.
  • A customer-focused approach and a high level of professionalism.
